Appointed as the director by the Government of Maldives on 20th April 2023.
Qualification & Experience
Mr. Mohamed Rasheed holds a bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from University of Canterbury, and a Bachelor of Law (with Honors) awarded by University of the West England. He also holds a Diploma in Accounting from the Association of Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Rasheed has over 20 years of experience in management and served as Director for different companies in the private sector. He is currently the General Manager of Hulhumale Sawmills Private Limited and has expertise in total enterprise management including human resources, finance and bookkeeping and business development. Mr. Rasheed began his career at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury as a secretary of the department of External Resources. He has also worked in the tourism sector, with UNDP and in the construction industry as well.
He does not hold any significant shares in any Company in the Maldives that has or will be perceived as a conflict of interest with HDFC Plc.
